LadyReaderofBook’s Younger Years Challenge

Alanna when in old age thinks about her younger years.

Requirements:

1. must be under 1000 words

2. Must use phrase "airbrain(s) chasing butterflies".

3. Must be finished by the first day of September. I'm giving a lot of time.

4. Not too cheesy, for example: George looked at Alanna and asked what she was thinking about. Alanna replied "I was just thinking about my younger years." Alanna has to have some resonable explanation for thinking about her past.
